Rainbow Circus had a fantastic time on 30th October 2024 bringing Tavistock's first annual Zombie Crawl to town in association with Tavistock BID. Over the course of this project, Rainbow Circus has visited local schools to provide workshops for the zombie dance flash mob (with a sprinkling of circus skills, of course!). The response from the local community was fantastic and yesterday we saw over 400 participants in our workshop before almost 100 zombies burst out of the Pannier Market & paraded their way around town.
Rainbow Circus CIO would like to thank Rosie Rainbow Circus, Zoe (our hardworking face-painter and mermaid zombie) & all of our amazing Trustees for their hard work both on the day and around the edges. Janna Sanders from Tavistock BID for such a fabulous proposal that was so fun to work on, the Lions Club of Tavistock for their provision of bodies for the parade, the team at the Pannier Market & Town Hall for such a wonderful space and kind facilitation, Tavistock Primary and Whitchurch Primary for collaborating with us on our free workshops and (perhaps most importantly) the wonderful local community who came out to join in, have fun and get stuck in to a fun new project for the Town we love.
Thank you to everyone who came and played with us! It was fantastic to see you all. Until next time!

Rosie Rainbow worked with Tavistock BID on the inaugural Zombie Crawl in Tavistock Town Centre. As this was an event that had never been run before, we asked her to bring her creativity and event management skills to the project to ensure that it ran smoothly regardless of the number of attendees. Rosie managed a series of circus skill workshops throughout the day, which saw over 400 children in attendance. We were impressed by the attention to detail given to every element of the workshops and the way she managed the number of children. The Zombie Crawl was choreographed beautifully and went off without a hitch thanks to Rosie and her team. The feedback from visitors on the day was glowing and we are thrilled that Rosie Rainbow Circus has become an integral part of the events scene in Tavistock.
