Callington Mayfest 2025

On Saturday 10th May 2025 we arrived in Callington to set up for Callington CaVe's annual Mayfest event. As often happens with this weekend, the weather God's were on our side and in the glorious sunshine we paraded and workshopped all day. We saw lot's of familiar faces, especially those who had attended our CaVe Workshops at Callington Primary School in the run up to the event and there were 23 Circus participants in the Parade this year which was terribly good fun! 

We raised £42.80 from the day and had a fabulous time in the sunshine with friends new and old.

Callington CaVe Funded Workshops

This Spring, we had the privilege of providing some free workshops for the people of Callington, funded by Callington CaVe. We held four separate weekend workshops giving participants of all ages and abilities the opportunity to try out circus skills, some for the first time ever! Ages of workshop attendees ranged from 4-72+ and everyone got involved and tried new things. We had over 111 participants across the course of the four session block, and 100% positive feedback from participants which is always very reassuring! We had an absolute blast bringing circus skills to Callington each week, and are really looking forward to further collaboration with Callington CaVe & their amazing team in the future.
